BOY,do I remember ''GUN-SMOKE'' with JAMES ARNESS standing tall in the street drawing his gun against the bad guy.AS a matter of fact in my area cable television still runs GUNS Smoke.JAMES ARNESS was born MAY 26TH 1923.IN MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA.Active years from 1947-1994.HE had done movies too besides tv and was the monster in THE THING movie.Later became for twenty years the law man called MATT DILLON in DODGE CITY. IT ran for twenty years and reruns still going.HIS brother was PETER GRAVES who played on MISSION IMPOSSIBLE tv series.GUNSMOKE was a western tv series in the 50's.JAMES did 675 episodes of GUNSMOKE.Plus he did at least 40 films.
