At Least 3 People Injured In Bridgeport Fires Overnight

At least three people were injured in two separate fires overnight in Bridgeport.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — At least three people were injured in two fires Wednesday night into Thursday morning in Bridgeport, according to The Connecticut Post. The first was a structure fire reported on Hallett Street around 9 p.m. that sent two people to the hospital.

The two-alarm fire was extinguished by 10:15 p.m.

A person was injured and nine residents were displaced in another two-alarm fire hours later on the 800 block of Shelton Ave., The Connecticut Post reported. The fire department responded at 4 a.m. Thursday.

The person injured suffered "significant burns" and smoke inhalation.
