Liberation Programs Announces Appointment of New Board Chair

(Bridgeport, CT) – Liberation Programs, Inc (LPI) announced the start of its new Fiscal Year on July 1, 2022 with the appointment of a new Chair of the Board of Directors.

Kwame Moses was sworn in as Board Chair replacing Debra Hertz who will remain on the Board of Directors.

“We are grateful to Debra for her dedication in remaining on our Board after having served the last 2 years as Chair. The upcoming Fiscal Year is an exciting one and we look forward to working with Kwame as Chair of the Board”, said President and CEO, John Hamilton.

Kwame Moses, former Treasurer of the Board, joined Liberation Programs’ Board of Directors in 2011 and has been involved in various committees. Professionally, Kwame has over 15 years of experience working in the financial industry for major Asset Management firms. Kwame holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Manhattanville College as well as an M.B.A. in Finance and Post Graduate Certificate in International Management from Iona College. He is a licensed Realtor in Connecticut and Commercial and Investment Real Estate Certified (CIREC).

Liberation Programs is one of Fairfield County’s leading behavioral health organizations specializing in treatment for all types of substance use disorders including alcohol, opiates, depressants, and stimulants.
