Local Man Repaired Cars and Allegedly Sold Drugs, Bridgeport Police Say

The suspect operated a garage on Miles Street.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Local car repair garage owner Carlos Segarra, 44, was arrested by Bridgeport police on multiple narcotics charges Monday for allegedly dealing drugs out of his Miles Street shop, reports the Connecticut Post.

The department's Tactical Narcotics Team conducted a surveillance operation of the shop and allegedly saw numerous people buy drugs from Segarra or employees.

Segarra was charged with sale of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and related charges. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
