Lucyinda Marie Wellington, known to all as “Cindy”, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026 while surrounded by her loving family at the age of 61. Cindy was born on December 13, 1964, in Bridgeport, CT, to the late Russell Wellington Sr. and Joan C. Wellington.

Cindy dedicated more than 30 years of her life to working in transportation management, specializing in school buses, trucks, 18-wheelers, and more, with her most recent employment at TEMCO. She truly enjoyed her work and took pride in the knowledge and experience she built throughout her career. Outside of work, Cindy loved spending time at the casino and playing card games such as poker, Texas Hold’em, Rummy 500, and even Monopoly. She also enjoyed video games and was especially skilled at playing Call of Duty. Her playlists reflected her bold personality and eclectic taste, ranging from Ozzy Osbourne to classic country and 80s and 90s rock and alternative music.

Cindy was social by nature and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone, whether they were family, friends, or complete strangers. She was quick-witted, headstrong, upfront, and known for her raunchy sense of humor that could make people laugh unexpectedly. Above all, she always did her best to care for and provide for her children in every way she could. Cindy was also a true foodie who loved discovering great restaurants, cooking for herself and her loved ones, and watching cooking shows.
