Man, 22, Shot and Killed in Bridgeport: Report

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Immanuel White, 22, was shot and killed late Saturday on Wells Street, the Connecticut Post reports.

This is the seventh homicide of the year in Bridgeport. White was shot twice around 11 p.m. and was pronounced dead at a local hospital, the Post reports.

White had previously been shot on April 10 in what the Connecticut Post describes as a drug dead gone bad. During the April incident White was shot in the wrist. A second man was also shot during the April incident the Post reports.

Bridgeport police are investigating the homicide.
