Man Charged In Bridgeport Birthday Party Shooting

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man on supervised release for federal gun and drug convictions has been charged in another shooting, The Connecticut Post reported. George Sanchez, aka "Little G," 26, of Chamberlain Avenue was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.

The charges are connected to a shooting during an argument at a birthday party July 26 at an Atwater Street home, according to The Post. The victim was shot multiple times in the left leg.

Sanchez was held in lieu of $500,000 bond.
