Man Convicted In 117-MPH Bridgeport Crash

BRIDGEPORT, CT — It only took a jury an hour to convict David Henshaw, 64, on manslaughter charges in a 2016 Father's Day Bridgeport crash that left a father of three dead.

Henshaw was traveling 117 miles per hour when he smashed into a vehicle driven by Felipe Soto, 31, according to the Connecticut Post. The force of the crash sent human remains and car parts into a tree.

Henshaw didn't give an explanation about why he was driving nearly 100 miles over the speed limit and said he remembered sneezing and then nothing about the crash.
