Man In Critical Condition After Hit-And-Run Crash: Bridgeport PD
The victim suffered head and body trauma, according to Bridgeport police.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash, according to Bridgeport police.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m. Friday, when a silver 2018 Honda Civic hit a pedestrian in the 200 block of Boston Avenue, police said. The Civic, which had a state registration number of BF78804, fled the scene traveling south on Noble Avenue, according to police.
Authorities notified nearby towns about the runaway vehicle and searched for the Civic — which is missing a front grill and a front right fog light grill — but were unsuccessful, authorities said.
