Man Rescued From Dam At Beardsley Park In Bridgeport: Officials
The water incident occurred Sunday morning, according to authorities.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man was rescued early Sunday from the dam at Beardsley Park in Bridgeport, according to authorities.
The incident occurred just before 6 a.m., when police were notified that the man was yelling for assistance from in the dam.
"Both Bridgeport Fire Department and Bridgeport Police Department responded to the incident," wrote Tiadora Josef, Bridgeport's Director of Public Information, in a statement.

Details of the incident were not available, but the man was taken away by ambulance following the rescue. His condition was not disclosed.
