Man Shot and Killed on Madison Avenue in Bridgeport: Report

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man was shot and killed in the vicinity of El Paraiso Restaurant on Madison Avenue in Bridgeport, according to police.

The victim's identity has not yet been released, and police are searching for the shooter, who is described as an Hispanic male, reports the Connecticut Post.

Police said the shooting occurred at about 10 p.m., but did not say whether it occurred inside or outside of the restaurant. The victim was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center where he later died.
