In particular, he will discuss revitalizing the gateway to UB and the South End, the city’s first-ever comprehensive Waterfront Plan, a new natural gas plant to replace the City’s landmark red-and-white coal-burning tower, and Steelpointe—one of the most significant public promenades in the region.
“The University of Bridgeport is my alma mater,” said Mayor Ganim. “Working closely and forging a strong partnership with this dynamic and innovative community is key in the City’s revitalization.”
