EDGAR ALLAN POE was indeed a great poet and writer.Many of us no doubt had read POES' stories as well as poems and have been mezmerized by the depth of his very words.Some critics are to irrational on judging POES' works.Indeed his inner thoughts were somewhere in the stanzas of his poetry and there was more than a weird tale in his story lines.HE expressed his inner thoughts so deeply and as you read his works you can't help to wonder if he was indeed a troubled man or his minds thoughts were multiplied so quickly that he could not decipher his most inner thoughts as he penned the poems as well as the stories.WAS he trying to create horror ?Were the horror stories indeed a product produced due to his drinking problem or are the stories written true to what he wanted to tell us or were these stories from his personal dreams or realistically his imagination run wild.IF he was alive today I wonder if he'd explain his writings in depth so that we get the true meaning of the author.?
