Mountain Grove Cemetery, a famous resting place for the rich and famous.,The cemetery is located on NORTH AVE,IN BRIDGEPORT.The two most famous deceased buried there are P.T.BARNUM and Charles'Stratton[TOM THUMB].Barnum helped establish the cemetery.Over 40,000 people are buried there on the 125 acre property.Ghost stories started about the cemetery too because NATIVE AMERICANS lived on that same property.The cemetery established in 1849.Barnum put up money to establish the cemetery.

The MOUNTAIN GROVE CEMETERY is a very active cemetery today.
