NY Cops: Bridgeport Man Had Phony Driver's License, 19 Fake Plates

He was stopped on the Taconic State Parkway.

New York State Police have charged Lamy Aldophe of Bridgeport, Connecticut with 20 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony.

Additionally, Aldophe is charged with possessing a counterfeit Connecticut Driver's License with a false name and date of birth.

Aldophe was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation on the Taconic State Parkway in Milan on March 31.

Police allege he was found to possess 19 counterfeit Delaware dealer license plates, one of which was affixed to the vehicle he was operating.

He was arraigned in the Town of Milan court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail.
