Obituary: Charles C. Tanner, 85, Of Bridgeport

Charles C. Tanner, of Bridgeport, passed away on June 6, 2023. He was born in Providence, RI on July 22, 1937.

Charles was an Army Veteran and was stationed in Turkey for 1 ½ years. He was called back into the Army in 1961 where he was stationed at Fort Devons, MA as an instructor. Charles worked for 32 years for the Federal Government as Branch Chief for the Defense Department.

He had a great passion for riding motorcycles. He and his wife had many adventures riding together.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Sandra; two sons, Jeffrey Tanner of Bridgeport, and Robert Tanner (Judith) of Fairfield; his loving daughter, Cynthia Tanner Meoli of Branford; and his beloved granddaughter, Madeline Meoli of Branford.
