Proud of her Italian heritage, Francesca's favorite singer was Andrea Bocelli and she enjoyed watching the Italian news. Her other favorite shows included Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, The Bachelor, and The Golden Bachelor. Francesca took great joy in gardening, vacationing, baking, cooking, canning tomatoes, and making cured meats. Francesca loved socializing with her many friends and family in the U.S., Italy, and Canada. She was always sure to have her cellphone nearby to call them on any given occasion. She even asked for her cellphone in the hospital just days before her passing. She always enjoyed welcoming others into her life and into her home for lunch, dinner, or coffee. She treated all her friends as family.
Francesca was a devoted grandmother, who helped care for her grandsons from the time they were born until they entered middle school. When Justin and Jeffrey would return to her home after school, she always had a treat ready for them, which often included homemade pizza and cookies. In addition, she enjoyed taking them to the local beaches and parks. Francesca always took great pride in her appearance. She was always dressed nicely, never leaving the house without her hair being done, lipstick applied, nails polished, and never without her favorite necklace and earrings, even when grocery shopping. She was a perfectionist in all she did. For example, when preparing a display of cookies for a party, she always took care to ensure the bow on the cookie tray wrapping and the sprinkles on the cookies were just right.

Her son, Sisto, and grandsons, Jeffrey and Justin, loved her chicken, stracciatella, and pastina soup. Every time she made it, she would always ask, do you want the pastina or do you want the "meeks" (mix)?
