Win absolutely adored children and spent as much time with them as possible. She volunteered her time as room mother for both of her children's classes at Oldfield School in Fairfield, CT from 1972-1979, baked cupcakes for every classmates birthday and rode with them to school on her bicycle, regardless of the weather, before she obtained a CT driver's license. All the students loved and looked forward to seeing her ride up on her bike, outside of the classroom window, and would all run to the door to greet her. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting and frequently hand-made clothes and other items. Win shared her love of arts and crafts with her grandchildren and children that she babysat for and often could be found working on projects with them. She loved attending Renaissance festivals, fairs and other events with her friends. Win went "home” to the UK often to visit her ever-growing family of nieces and nephews, and loved each and every one with all of her heart.
