Odor Hospitalizes Bridgeport Students: Reports
BREAKING: Students at the Columbus Elementary School were evacuated due to an unknown odor Thursday.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unknown odor sent students to Bridgeport Hospital from the Columbus School and caused the building was evacuated Thursday, according to multiple reports including NBC Connecticut. An odor in the school reportedly sent four children to the hospital after eight students were found coughing and vomiting. Students not sent home or to the hospital were taken to the Johnson School. A person with a grandchild at the school told the Connecticut Post she saw students taken away in an ambulance.
School officials told NBC Connecticut that the fire department has been classed to determine the odor. Fox 61 reports further testing is underway, but that nothing toxic was found in the area or the building.
