HEY who could forget those blue eyes of the late great actor PAUL NEWMAN?PAUL NEWMAN was born JANUARY 26,1925.HE passed away in WESTPORT,CT.SEPTEMBER 26 2008.HE turned to acting since he did not do well in football in college.HE made his debut in 1953 on BROADWAY.Then started doing television and films becoming in time the greatest actor of his time.Overtime his occupations were THEATER ACTOR,FILM ACTOR,RACE CAR DRIVER,AND DIRECTOR.HE attended YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA AND KENYON COLLEGE.HEwas married to the famous actress JOANNA WOODWARD and lived in WESTPORT,CT.HIS active years were 1953-2008.HE made numerous movies such as THE HUSTLER,COOL HAND LUKE,THE STING,BUTCH CASSIDEY AND THE SUNDANCE KID,HUD ,THE TOWERING INFERNO and THE MARIGOLDS which some scenes were filmed here in BRIDGEPORT and I had the ultimate pleasure of meeting him on set on BEECHMONT AVE.the day they were filming and all I can say my mom and I were thrilled to say the least and of course he was so gracious and comfortable talking with us .A big star but so nice to talk to.
