Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Bridgeport Hit-And-Run
A pedestrian died in the accident and a driver left the scene Sunday night.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident Sunday night, according to WTNH. Emergency services were called to North Avenue and French Street shortly before 9 p.m.
The pedestrian was crossing North Avenue and was hit in the left lane. The driver didn't stop and continued to travel eastbound on North Avenue, according to WTNH.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
