Plea Entered In Bridgeport Baby-Snatching Case: Report
The suspect allegedly snatched the infant right out of her mother's arms.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 38-year-old Bridgeport woman pleaded guilty to one count of risk of injury to a minor in connection with the woman allegedly snatching a 16-month-old infant right out of her mother's arms, reports the Connecticut Post.
Brenda Fresse faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison followed by probation stemming from the December 2015 incident, where she followed a stranger home and tried to run off with the victim's baby daughter.
Fresse has had four of her own children taken away from her, according to the publication.
