POE has been gone for many years yet today his museum and home are indeed of rescue financially The EDGAR ALLAN POE MUSEUM AND FORMER HOME is in dire need of funds to float normal activities daily.IT lost $85,000.in funding from the CITY OF BALTIMORE.POE had lived here at some point in time.The address is 203 AMITY ST.where he lived with his aunt as well as his cousin VIRGINIA from 1833-to 1835.POE later died in BALTIMORE and just like his stories his death is clouded by a mystery not telling us what really happened to the 40 year old genius.POE had married VIRGINIA twice and later she died of TB at a young age.THE couple lived in RICHMOND for a while.TO this day people are fascinated by POE and his works.There is a lot of written articles covering his life for those who want to know more about him.
