EDGAR ALLAN POE 'S poem ANNABELLE- LEE is one of his best although critics down play some of the poems written by POE.Even his novels are at times criticized by critics who I feel really did not understand POES'written works.POE to me was a genius ,a man with so much to offer to the world of literacy.Even today so many years later POES 'poems as well as his novels are sought after for he indeed was the leader where horror takes on in written form.NO writer today can even come close as far as talent goes for POE was indeed the trail blazer for others to follow.
