POE was a man of many talents.His horror stories have lasted so very long and readers even today can be frightened by his descriptiveness of his diabolical story lines.Some of his novels of course became movies many years after.HE is known for his ''PIT AND THE PENDULUM''AND ''THE TELL TALE HEART'' and numerous poems and one of the best movies was ''THE OVAL PORTRAIT''based on his novel.POE was indeed a literary genius.I read his poem ANNABEL LEE and was fascinated by his use of words with such deep meaning to the rhyme itself a beautiful piece written so well so beautifully.POE is gone of course but his works still entertain us today.
