Police Catch 2 Suspects In Bridgeport Armed Bank Robbery
Police arrested two men in a robbery of a TD Bank.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A bank was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday and two men have been charged in the crime, according to police. One employee was inside TD Bank at 975 Madison Ave. and called 911 while the perpetrator was still in the bank. The employee provided dispatchers with information that helped responding officers to quickly identify a vehicle fleeing the scene.
Police said dispatchers were able to quickly relay this information to responding units and the perpetrators were located minutes later traveling on Wood Avenue.
The vehicle's driver, Marcus Wright, 24, was apprehended in the vehicle. The passenger, Shawn Lamar Moore-Harris, 21, fled the vehicle and was caught after a foot chase.

The cash proceeds from the bank robbery were recovered from the vehicle as well as two BB handguns that were replicas of real firearms, according to police.
Moore Harris will be charged with first-degree robbery, weapons offenses and interfering with police.

Wright will be charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and weapons offenses.
