Police Find Intoxicated Bridgeport Man Asleep at the Wheel with Car Running in the Roadway: Police
Milford police say they also found a firearm too.

MILFORD, CT - Milford police officers responded to a report of a person sleeping behind the steering wheel of a vehicle that was both running and in the middle of the roadway just before 4 a.m. this morning.
Officers responded to the area of Naugatuck Avenue and Ruth Ann Terrace and their investigation led to the arrest of Luis Perez, 45, of Summit Street in Bridgeport, who is accused of driving his vehicle under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Perez provided a breath sample which allegedly showed him to have an elevated blood alcohol content, police said.

Further investigation showed Perez to be in possession of a firearm while under the influence, police said.
He is charged with DUI and possession of a firearm under the influence.

He was released after posting a $500 bond.
