Raymond could always be found doing something around his home. He loved working in his yard and or doing a project on the house. He had an ability to fix, build, and figure things out, a trait he passed down to his family.

Earlier in his life, Raymond was avid golfer and softball player. He was an enthusiastic fan of the New York Yankees, UConn Basketball and New York Giants.

But above all, his family always came first. He lived those words every day. He was a devoted and supportive husband to his beloved wife, Judie, standing faithfully by her through every step of her life until her passing in 2025. Raymond was Judie’s caregiver for 10 years and never left her side. His love and devotion to her were unwavering, and their life together of 63 years was a testament to the true meaning of commitment and partnership. One of his favorite things he loved to do was taking long drives with Judie.

Raymond's love extended just as deeply to his children and grandchildren. He was present for the moments both big and small, making sure his family always knew they were the most important thing to him. When it came to his grandsons, there was rarely an event, milestone, or activity that Raymond missed. From daycare/school activities, family get-togethers to sporting events, he was always there.

Raymond managed his grandson, Timmy’s, baseball team for many years, dedicating countless hours to the young players and the Milford Junior Major League. Every possible opportunity, Raymond and Judie attended as many sporting events, cheering their grandsons on and taking genuine pride in watching them play.

Raymond's greatest accomplishment was not his career, the properties he developed, or the organizations he served. It was his family and the love, advice and support he passed on to each and every one of them in his own special way.

Raymond's true legacy is one of love, devotion, advice and support to anyone who knew him. He was one of a kind and will truly be missed.
