BOY BACK IN THE DAY in the fifties we shopped differently. There were no malls to run out to so our downtown was the shoppers'haven.THE stores had great merchandise at decent prices and the shopping days generaly were MONDAY NIGHTS,THURSDAY NIGHTS AND SATURDAYS.LIFE was so simple.MOST of the time we'd walk downtown from THE HOLLOW where we lived.THERE were multiple stores and numerous spots to eat at and movie houses everywhere you turned,BOY-I miss those ''HAPPY DAYS''I look back now and my memories of the glory days still exist in my mind but in reality are gone forever.WE will never experience the good old days again sadly to say.

I'D love to hear from our readers.I'M sure they remember the days gone by.CONTACT RICH AT rsauthor00@gmail.com
