Rep. Rosario Lauds Funding For Homeless Youth

From the Connecticut House Democrats: Rep. Chris Rosario (D-Bridgeport) is pleased to announce the approval of a grant for Central Connecticut YMCA to construct housing for homeless youth.
“I am proud to serve on the YMCA board with a group of dedicated members that have been champions on addressing and curbing homelessness, especially amongst youth,” Rep. Rosario said. “This funding will change and enrich lives, giving homeless youth a stable place to facilitate on improving their futures. I thank Governor Lamont for prioritizing this important funding.”
The State Bond Commission today approved a $2,674,604 grant to Central Connecticut Coast YMCA for the conversion of a building into 11 efficiency apartments for homeless youth in Bridgeport. Chris Rosario represents the 128th District in Bridgeport. In addition to serving as Deputy Speaker of the House, he is a member of the Appropriations, Insurance and Real Estate, and Transportation Committees.
