Retailer To Fill Sports Authority Building
A retailer will fill the space once occupied by Sports Authority in Bridgeport. Sports Authority went bankrupt in 2016.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Michaels, an arts and crafts retailer will take over the space previously occupied by Sports Authority on Main Street, according to the Connecticut Post.
Sports Authority closed its Bridgeport, Danbury and North Haven locations in 2016 after the company declared bankruptcy. The Bridgeport location had opened less than two years before it closed.
Michaels has 21 Connecticut locations, according to the company website.
