Roberta Garbarini, 68, Of Bridgeport

Garbarini- Roberta Garbarini, age 68, of Bridgeport, died Friday May 11, 2018 at St. Vincents Medical Center in Bridgeport. Miss Garbarini was born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie (Muslawski) Garbarini. Roberta was a retired Secretary for the Southern Connecticut Gas Company. She loved the outdoors , and enjoyed to Kayak on Long Island Sound.

She was a member of the Fairfield Historical Society and the Fairfield Museum. She is survived by her loving brother, Louis Garbarini and his wife Huong Nguyen, of Fairfield a cousin Marie Nobile, friends Jani Leatherman and Theresa Sedenski and several other cousins. Friends are invited to attend her Funeral on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Resurrection. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery in Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave, Bridgeport from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made to either Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main St Bridgeport, CT 06606 or to the American Heart Association.
