BRIDGEPORT, CT — The family of the late Jayson Negron, 15, will receive $500,000 in a settlement reached in connection with Negron's 2017 shooting death by Bridgeport Police Officer James Boulay, reported the Connecticut Post.

The settlement, reached recently between the Negron's family, the city, the police department and Boulay, was approved by the City Council this week.
