Shelton Woman Charged with DUI, Bridgeport Passenger Also Arrested: Orange Police
Orange police said they pulled the vehicle over after it was 'tailgating' another car.

ORANGE, CT — Orange police say they saw a motorist 'tailgating' another car and once they stopped the vehicle it led to a DUI arrest and the arrest of a passenger who had an arrest warrant pending in Bridgeport.
Police said at 1:25 a.m. on Racebrook Road on August 27 officers conducting routine patrol observed a vehicle traveling erratically on Racebrook Road, ‘tailgating’ a vehicle in front of it.
Upon stopping the vehicle, officers had the driver perform standardized roadside sobriety tests, police said.

She was subsequently taken into custody and charged with DUI and following too close.
The passenger of the vehicle was found to have a warrant with the Bridgeport Police, so he was detained until Bridgeport officers could take him into custody, police said.
