Silver Alert Issued for Missing Bridgeport Girl, 16

Bridgeport, CT - A Silver Alert has been issued for Bridgeport resident Siria Canales, 16, who has been reported missing since June 6, according to police.

Canales was last seen by her stepfather getting into a white Yukon SUV at about 2 a.m. on the 6th, police said, but they do not have the license plate number.

"[She is] known to hang out at the Flax Hill Park in Norwalk during the late afternoon and evenings," said Bridgeport police in a statement.

Police did not have a description of the clothing Canales was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but she is described as white, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.
