Stamford Teen Killed in Bridgeport Shooting
The shooting took place late Saturday afternoon.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Stamford teen was killed after being shot twice in the head in Bridgeport on Saturday, according to media reports.
The teen was identified as 18-year-old Shane Slinsky, according to the Connecticut Post. Av Harris, the director of communications for Bridgeport, told the paper Slinksky was apparently attempting to buy drugs when he was shot. However, NBC Connecticut reported detectives are trying to determine why Slinsky was in the city.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide. Authorities have not identified a suspect or a motive.

"This is my grandson Shane Slinsky, he was killed in Bridgeport tonight, all because he had some money in his pocket, 18 is too young to become an angel, will miss you," Joy Fiero Nielsen wrote on Facebook, accompanied with a picture of Slinsky.
