Stolen Guns, Drugs Found In Vehicle; Bridgeport Man Among 4 Arrested: Police

Four CT men were arrested Thursday in Stamford after guns and drugs were found inside a vehicle, according to police.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Four Connecticut men, including a Bridgeport resident, were arrested Thursday night after Stamford police say they were found to be in possession of three loaded guns - two of which were reported stolen - and drugs in a vehicle.

Shayaa Brown, 27, of Stamford; Jahiem Jones, 22, of Waterbury; Isaiah Landrau, 22, of Bridgeport; and Edmir Andre, 21, of Shelton, each face numerous gun and drug charges.

"It's certainly concerning to see this type of firepower in a vehicle like this with people from all over the region," Stamford Assistant Police Chief Richard Conklin told Patch, praising the officers involved for their work. "We're lucky nobody was injured."

The Stamford Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad (NOC) had been conducting a drug trafficking investigation into Brown according to Conklin.

Investigators were also looking into information that Brown, a convicted felon, was in possession of guns, Conklin said.

Members of the NOC Squad, with assistance from patrol officers, blocked a car in after it returned to Brown's home in the 20-block of Revere Drive in Stamford at approximately 6:55 p.m., Conklin said.

The driver of the vehicle, Landrau, was found to be in possession of a loaded Ruger "SR40C" .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, Conklin said.

The gun was previously reported stolen out of Greenville, SC, on Aug. 4, 2022, in a vehicle break-in, Conklin added.

A search of the vehicle uncovered two knotted plastic bags of crack cocaine weighing 7.5 grams on the floor in the backseat, police said. Under the front passenger seat, police found a Glock "22" .40 caliber gun with a high-capacity magazine containing 15 rounds, Conklin said.

Under the same passenger seat but accessible from the rear, a Glock "19X" 9mm handgun with a high-capacity magazine containing 29 rounds was discovered, police said. According to Conklin, the gun was reported stolen from Bridgeport on Oct. 16, 2025.
