Suspect Caught After Bank Robbery In Bridgeport: Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police arrested a suspect Thursday afternoon, following a robbery at TD Bank on Lafayette Boulevard in Bridgeport, according to authorities.

The incident began at 4:30 p.m., when Bridgeport police received a duress alarm from the bank of a robbery in progress.

"Male suspect was tracked on foot and taken into custody," said Tiadora Josef, the city's Director of Public Information. "No further [information] at this time."
