Suspects Shoot At Bridgeport Police Officer: Report

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two suspects have been arrested after they allegedly shot at a Bridgeport police officer Wednesday morning during a dispute in the area of Jane and Kossuth streets, reports NBC Connecticut News. No injuries were reported.

The officer was at an extra-duty road job when the incident occurred, which also resulted in the nearby Achievement First Bridgeport Academy being placed on temporary lockdown until the suspects were caught.

Additional information was not immediately able but a gun has been recovered.
