Teen Crashes Stolen Car After Home Invasion: Bridgeport PD

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 14-year-old Bridgeport teen was arrested after he broke into a home, stole a car and crashed it during a chase Tuesday, according to police.

A home invasion was reported on Waverly Place around 5 a.m. and a Buick Century was taken, according to the Connecticut Post.

The vehicle was spotted around 10:30 a.m. by police and the 14-year-old driver fled. The teen eventually crashed the car in Black Rock and tried to flee on foot, but was captured.

The teen's mother said her son is remorseful over his actions.
