Those of us who grew up in Bridgeport during the 50's can relate I'M sure to these photos.Bridgeport during that era was a great place to live and raise a family.Living in the HOLLOW most of my growing up years was good times with everyone pretty much living in harmony.I knew most of my neighbors and most boys back then belonged to THE NORTH END BOYS CLUB.Life was simple not complex.Today a lot of people do not know their neighbors like we did back in the day.Life had a different feel to it-a different meaning to it.Friendships were a valuable asset in growing up in the HOLLOW.Now looking back the neighborhood has changed,old friends are gone and our society is of a different caliber.Yes the good times are gone but will remain in my memories forever.
