
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police and school staff dealt with disturbances caused by a social media post and a bomb threat Friday.
Central High School was placed into lock in/lock out mode while police searched the entire campus following a social media post regarding a potential threat, said Av Harris, police spokesman.
It was later determined the threat referenced Clovis High School in New Mexico where authorities apprehended a suspect.

Friday afternoon Bassick High School received a bomb threat and the school was evacuated while police searched the campus. Students were able to return after the search was completed.
Resource officers remained on all campuses until dismissal.
