Top 15 Most Wanted Man Captured In Connecticut

The man was wanted for the murder of his sister and an ex-girlfriend, according to U.S. Marshals.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man wanted for the New York murder of his sister and an ex-girlfriend was captured by U.S. Marshals in Bridgeport Tuesday.

Andre Neverson, 54, from Trinidad and Tabago committed the murders in 2002, according to the U.S. Marshals Office. He also was wanted for a parole violation and was placed on the 15 Most Wanted fugitive list in 2004.

“The United States Marshals Service is extremely pleased to have a violent criminal, who murdered two
women in New York, off the streets of Connecticut after 16 years on the run,” said U.S. Marshal Brian
Taylor, District of Connecticut.

U.S. Marshals and Bridgeport police arrested Neverson on Ogden Street in Bridgeport after developing information that he was hiding out there.

Neverson allegedly shot his sister in the head and stomach in July 2002 and abducted a former girlfriend the next day, according to the Marshals Office. He was on parole at the time for attempted murder.
