Train Collision Injures Workers In Bridgeport
Two trains collided Thursday afternoon. Delays of up to 45 minutes are expected on the New Haven Line.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two trains that weren't carrying passengers collided at low speed near the Bridgeport station at 1:45 p.m.
One train was carrying equipment and the other was only occupied by staff, according to Fox 61.
Three Metro-North workers received minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for evaluation, said Bridgeport Fire Chief Richard Thode at a press conference.

Train tracks were temporarily shut down as a precaution as firefighters worked to bring injured workers down from the elevated tracks, Thode said. Firefighters have finished at the scene.
