Victim In Fatal Bridgeport Crash Remembered As 'Super Sonic Noah'

A GoFundMe campaign has been launched on behalf of Noah Rodriguez, one of two people who died in a crash in Bridgeport on March 6.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A GoFundMe campaign has been launched on behalf of Noah Rodriguez, a 4-year-old Seymour boy who died last week from injuries he sustained in a fatal two-vehicle rollover crash in Bridgeport.

The crash also killed Chelsy Naesha Torres, 24, of Seymour, who reportedly was Noah's aunt, according to the Connecticut Post. Noah died a couple of days after the crash, which occurred on Boston Avenue.

"Noah was a very smart, loving, Wild soul little boy," wrote Natalya Ortiz, the sister of Noah's mother, Ashley, on GoFundMe. "He was 4 years old with such a bright light in him. Noah loved super hero’s in which he called himself Super Sonic Noah."

As of Monday afternoon, the page had generated more than $10,800 toward a goal of $15,000.

Ortiz wrote that the money raised will go toward Noah's funeral, with any additional proceeds going to Ashley and Noah's baby broker, Noel.

"Noel who is 1, turning 2 in a couple weeks was also involved in the accident with Mom Ashley and brother Noah," Ortiz wrote. "Noel is hospitalized at Yale with less injuries than what Noah sustained. Noel will make a full recovery. However he is now going to have to live with out his big brother Noah."
