Video of Sweet 16 Party Shootings, Fight Released; Suspects Sought by Bridgeport Police

Police are asking for assistance with identifying anyone in the video. Five people were injured in the shooting. Watch the video here.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying anyone pictured in surveillance video from a shooting that occurred inside the Club Sportiva Italian Social Club, located at 2500 Park Avenue, late Saturday night.

Five people who were attending a Sweet Sixteen birthday party on Saturday were shot inside the club, according to reports.

One of the victims was listed in serious condition but is expected to live, NBC Connecticut reported. Four other victims received non-life threatening injuries. Four of the five victims were males, according to FOX 61.

Several uninvited people showed up at the club, which led to a fight that spilled out into the parking lot, Fox 61 reports.

Bridgeport Police have released surveillance footage from the fight and shooting to help with the investigation.

The video was compiled from security camera footage taken from inside the Club Sportiva Italian Social Club. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective J. Tenn.
