Wanted Suspect Apprehended In Bridgeport Murder: Police
The suspect is accused of murdering Aaron Hunt in April.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 27-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on a warrant Monday charging him with the murder of Aaron Hunt, 25, on April 26 on Denver Avenue in Bridgeport, according to police.
Andre Johnson was apprehended by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force, Bridgeport Police Homicide Detectives, members of the Bridgeport Violent Crime Task Force, and the Waterbury Police Department.
Details of the arrest were not disclosed, and bail information was not immediately available.

Authorities had been looking for Johnson since early May, when the department put out a "be on the lookout" alert for him.
Though Hunt was shot and killed on the night of April 26, his body was not found until the next morning.

Police had been notified of gunshots on Denver Avenue that night, but Hunt's body was found on the ground between a vehicle and the side of a house in the 100 block of Denver Avenue.
"The Bridgeport Police Department’s thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the family and friends of Aaron Hunt," said Capt. Kevin Gilleran in a statement.
