DOESN'T this city government have any other concerns except the statue of COLUMBUS.?HOW about the local government spend time writing bills that would increase SOCIAL SECURITY for our elderly who in some cases struggle to exist.LETS' start helping the old folks who earned their keep ages ago instead of worrying about a statue that will accomplish nothing for us.I do not care what groups of people like COLUMBUS or not for I am ITALIAN AMERICAN and proud to be.THESE groups should be grateful they live in a free country and stop griping over petty nonsense.BRIDGEPORT needs to move forward not rehash our past history.GET SMART MOVE FORWARD.
