Winning '$25,000 A Year For Life' Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport
The winning ticket was drawn on Saturday, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A winning Lucky for Life "$25,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE" lottery ticket was recently sold in Bridgeport and drawn on Saturday, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
To win $25,000 a year for life, a player must match five winning numbers; if that person matches the five numbers and the Lucky Ball number, they win $365,000 a year for life.
On Saturday, the lucky winner matched 1 - 16 - 18 - 20 - 41, but did not match the Lucky Ball, which was 5.

The Connecticut Lottery, which publishes winner information as public record, has not yet named the winner; that person has until Oct. 5 to claim the prize before it expires.
Saturday's winning ticket was sold at Uptown News & Variety on Main Street in Bridgeport, and the store will a $2,500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Several thousand other winning tickets for lesser amounts were also sold in Connecticut for Saturday's drawing, according to lottery officials.
The Bridgeport ticket is the second winning $25,000 A Year for Life ticket sold in Connecticut in less than a week.
On April 5, such a ticket was drawn with the winning numbers 6 - 13 - 17 - 25 - 33. The ticket was sold at Speedy Mart Food Store on Meadowside Road in Milford.
