Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A Bridgeport resident is $20,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, Pedro Vega Marquez claimed a winning "20X Cash 8th Edition" ticket he bought at Bridgeport Minimart on East Main Street.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began this past June, and as of Wednesday, 84 grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 2.8 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
